Fudoshin Martial Arts

Teen martial arts for ages 13+

A class built for ages 13+.

Teen class is not a younger kids’ class with a new name. Ages 13+ train with challenge, composure, and progress earned through practice.

Why train

What students practice in teen class.

Martial arts gives students a place to practice these skills through attention, repetition, and steady effort.

Focused effort

Put distractions aside and work on one skill at a time.

Self-control

Practice composure under pressure, in class and outside it.

Resilience

Learn to adjust, keep going, and own the next attempt.

Confidence with humility

Earn progress through practice—not attitude.

Respect and leadership

Show maturity with peers and coaches.

How class works

What teen class looks like.

Matthew Lindahl, Owner / Instructor

Teen class is for ages 13+. It is not a younger kids’ class with a new name.

Training still moves through demonstration, partner work, forms, kicking drills, and sparring. Students have to watch, remember the sequence, control their body, pay attention to a partner, and adjust when something doesn’t work. A few minutes later the task changes.

When an attempt misses, students own the next one. That repetition is how focused effort and composure under pressure get practiced.

  • Remember.
  • Do.
  • Adjust.
  • Repeat.
